If you throw a guy out of the game in the first thirty minutes (like Jenas’ foul against the Ars*, like Mido’s foul against Chelski) it damn well better be for a foul of the career-threatening variety. By booting a player so early in the match, you’re virtually guaranteeing the opposition three points which is total b.s. Any coincidence these decisions came against two teams in the mix for the league title? I thought not.

I had the misfortune of watching Bolton vs. West Ham on Saturday. It was a showpiece for profligate finishing. Marlon Harewood should be hanged by the neck until he is dead for his part in the display.
