Plans

Due to scheduling SNAFUs, planning for the ninth-annual UHR (pictures from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6—7 and 8 have been forthcoming forever) has been derailed. Brothers Todd and Troy and I are doing a 30+ mile chunk of the Ice Age Trail up in northwestern Wisconsin and I’ve got it all mapped out—this might just end up being UHR 2008. I figured I would share it, just for kicks.

Topo Maps w/Elevation Profiles

My primary concerns are hoards of mosquitoes and finding dry bug-free campsites, although southern Wisconsin was hit much worse than northern with spring flooding. My secondary concern is my knee holding up for that much distance, but there’s not much elevation so I think I’ll be okay.

Quite looking forward to it in a couple weekends.
