Google alerts has just informed me that Black Static #7 has gone to press, and it will be featuring my story “The Hodag.” Not to be a complete suck up, but the covers for Black Static have been unbelievable, and check out this creepy little number gracing the cover of issue #7:

Black Static is trying very hard to get the graphics goods done right. I’ve been very impressed with several of their covers — the fly cover was particularly cool.
And it’s also cool that a good old-fashioned Wisconsin hodag should find a home in a U.K. magazine. (grin)

I really liked the one with the raven from Black Static #4, but they’ve done a great job upgrading, both the covers and in the interior art.
Congrats and yes, an excellent cover that certainly draws the reader in.
